Rick McDowell

Rick McDowell is Co-Founder and Partner of BeckShar Development and oversees construction operations, project execution, purchasing, and strategic growth initiatives for the company.

Rick brings decades of residential construction and development experience throughout the Southwest and has played a leadership role in the successful delivery of thousands of homes across a wide range of product types, including Build-to-Rent, single-family detached, townhomes, and master-planned communities.

Prior to co-founding BeckShar Development, Rick held senior leadership positions with national homebuilders, including D.R. Horton, where he managed large-scale residential operations and developed extensive expertise in construction management, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor relations, and field operations.

Known for his practical leadership style and operational knowledge, Rick focuses on delivering high-quality communities while maintaining strong relationships with developers, consultants, trade partners, and project stakeholders.

Under Rick’s leadership, BeckShar has expanded its presence throughout Arizona and is actively growing operations across the Southwest, including Nevada.
